January is undoubtedly one of busiest months in business all over the world. It is time to analyze and summarize everything that happened during the previous year, but also to move forward with new plans and ideas aimed at ensuring your personal and business development in many fields. It is no different when it comes to EasyDCIM and that is why we also wish to make a good start in 2017 and make this year even more exciting to our customers. What else could we do to spice things up than update our system? Here we go! We are delighted to announce the release of EasyDCIM v1.2.2 with literally tons of new features! The centerpiece of our latest update, as the title of this article indicates, is a completely new client area! The user empowering panel has been enriched with many compelling functionalities, like Two Factor Authentication, remote servers control through IPMI, possibility to install OS on servers with the use of NOC-PS, detailed traffic and usage graphing, rDNS management and more! The admin area of EasyDCIM has been also equipped with many new options, like a dedicated page with a list of services on the backend site, expanded ACL, enhanced general settings enabling extended personalization and as always, several improvements and fixes. Last but not least, we have updated three of our modules. IP Management For EasyDCIM v1.4.0 offers now revamped UI and a couple of fresh options led by possibility to list and manage IP addresses assigned to particular devices. Switch Management For EasyDCIM v1.2.0 has undergone a total remake and is now featured with many new components, like switch locations map, new views, aggregate statistics, summary graphs and more. PDU Management For EasyDCIM v1.0.1 brings up the rear with added support for PDU devices of E3METER brand. We are sure that you are going to love these changes. It's time to announce that a new milestone has just been reached - the release of EasyDCIM v1.2.0 Stable! Once again your feedback has proven to be invaluable and mainly on its basis we have enhanced many aspects of the system, plus we have added several new improvements from the list of our own ideas. Now the management of your data centers will be even easier and more intuitive! The centerpiece of this release is certainly an impressive number improvements mostly related to major functionalities, UX and stability of the whole control panel. We are happy to announce another milestone in our system for automated data center management. In this very release we would like to redefine the word automated as we are introducing a brand new, completely automated server provisioning flow. Our goal is to streamline the entire process from the moment of order to delivery of fully operational product to your customers. How have we achieved that? We released EasyDCIM v1.2.0 Beta! The latest version of our control panel has been enriched with OS Installation module which was the kind of a missing element in the whole provisioning puzzle. Technically, the module is based on NOC-PS submodule and in brief, will install automatically or manually required operating systems on servers you control or deliver to your clients. This process fills the automation gap from A to Z: Ordering → Matching Server → Turning Server ON → OS Auto Installation → → Monitoring & Management → Resource Usage Billing From now on you will be able to integrate with your favorite billing platform or use our inbuilt WHMCS integration to enable your customer to order and customize servers directly from your website. Afterwards, EasyDCIM will match a server in your data center to the preferences of your customer, turn it on automatically, install chosen during order operating system, assign subnet to server with IP Address Management and provision ready to action machine directly to your client. And that is just the beginning! Now, our complex monitoring and management mechanisms step into action providing you with a toolkit to control the machine, and your customer with a convenient panel to manage their server remotely. Meanwhile, the integration with a billing software assures precise server resource usage billing. We should not forget that this is just one of the possible scenarios. EasyDCIM will readily fit into many other usage concepts and of course serve you as an unprecedented manager of your data centers from a single part, through servers, complete racks, whole buildings up to different locations worldwide. Speaking of version 1.2.0 we cannot miss new Traffic Aggregation functionality allowing to combine traffic from multiple server ports connected to switch ports, or handy Troubleshooting Tool that will assist you in solving various issues. We have also released API v2.0 to enable you to exploit the integration possibilities of EasyDCIM to the max. In parallel, the system has undergone tons of major updates including improvements and bug fixes related to its nearly every aspect - from interface to core enhancements. EasyDCIM v1.2.0 is just around the corner and it is going to be released in July! But first things first - we would like to present you our latest version available. We have put strong emphasis on introducing several improvements that will facilitate your day-to-day work with our system and redeveloped one of our fundamental modules. So, what is new in EasyDCIM v1.1.2? Among the most noteworthy changes are added notifications informing about a port change, client fields improvements and the centerpiece of this release: DNS Management For EasyDCIM v1.1.0 which has been rebuilt from scratch. The module has been equipped with PowerDNS support, automatic zone creation upon service provisioning, instant zones import mechanism, rDNS management and many other features. In our last Blog article we had a pleasure to share our plans with you. We mentioned, that before we release version 1.2.0, we would release several minor updates in closely spaced time intervals and broaden our offer and possibilities related to modules. And so we are keeping pace! The time has come for EasyDCIM v1.1.1 and we are happy to announce its official release. Our target is to quickly and capably react to your insightful observations and invaluable feedback. Therefore, a centerpiece of this version is a brand new Two-Factor Authentication For EasyDCIM module, along with blade servers/devices management improvements and many usability enhancements. What is more, as this article is being created, we are working on the next version which will be released  yet in the first half of June. Many great things are happening to EasyDCIM now so be sure to stay tuned and expect much more to come really soon. A recent release of version 1.1.0 was just the beginning! Before you move to our changelog, take a shufty at the 7th official EasyDCIM module - Two-Factor Authentication. As its name suggests, it will introduce a second security layer to our system. So far it supports TOTP and YubiKey but the module will enable you to easily add any 3rd party two-factor authentication solutions whenever you need them. Update from v1.1.0 to v1.1.1 is pretty simple. This is a standard incremental ZIP file which you can find now in your client area. We are immensely proud to announce the release of EasyDCIM v1.1.0! The system has been completely rebuilt to offer you extreme improvements in usability, functionality and performance. This is one of the ways where EasyDCIM is heading. We will put even more emphasis on your experience with the system to make it enjoyable and practical to the limit! A foretaste of these changes is now visible in clear, simple views that allow you to overview and manage your assets without spending on it more time than necessary. As an example, from now you can view the map with locations of your servers and quickly preview each one of them to see their status, load, temperature and problems you should probably take care of. Everything in a single, transparent view. Basically, everything has been redesigned in greater or lesser extent to look better and work smoother than before. Now to features. Optimization is important but major release should contain major functionality additions as well. We are focused on that target also, yet our main goal for v1.1.0 was to improve the system reliability and perfect its current shape. We added two-sided racks and "half-width" devices support, queue processing engine, hourly cron command, new proxy IPMITool driver for the IPMI module and several more. We also redeveloped  IPAM, IPMI and Usage Collector modules. We have big plans for the upcoming releases but this is a topic for a completely new article. At this point it is worth mentioning that we have already started the work on version 1.2.0 which is about to be released at the turn of Q2 and Q3. Among many other features, EasyDCIM will be enriched by OS Auto Installer! Before that happens, we will release several minor updates in closely spaced time intervals. Here it comes! The long awaited release of EasyDCIM v1.1.0 is on the way and there is nothing that can stop us now! We have taken under consideration all your precious comments and we encapsulated tons of new features and improvements to the upcoming edition. It is no longer EasyDCIM you know from the past. Now it is faster, even more versatile and simply better. But this is just talk. See yourself what has been changed: 1.
